I am Hevaha from Tonga. My family and I speak Tongan language which is our mother tongue language. In our country we had our own traditional cultures, like ruled by King and his nobles. Special things about my family is that we always put GOD first in everything we do. Also we love and respect everyone in our family although we lived in different places and countries.
Hi Vaha this is Mrs Collins and I'll be commenting on blogs over the term break. Well done on posting and participating in the SLJ this year. I like the post you created on "Discovering Aotearoa" and sharing about your family history. When we moved to New Zealand we too had to leave all of our family behind in England, but they, and some of our friends, have been out to visit many times... Do you still speak Tongan at home? Have you read any of the duel language books at school - there are some great ones in Tonga... Keep blogging, and commenting on others to increase your chance of winning one of the awesome prizes, and to keep up your learning over the school break!
